From a small import company in 1996 to a regional platform with 250 colleagues, our purpose has not changed: quality of life comes first.
Diamedix was founded in Bucharest in 1996 as Diamedix Impex. From the beginning, the company was built around four principles that still define how we work: innovation, quality, excellence and strict legal compliance.
Today we represent more than 145 global manufacturers and supply over 8,000 products to more than 1,600 clients: public and private hospitals, reference laboratories, food producers and veterinary clinics. Our portfolio covers the complete healthcare workflow, from in vitro diagnostics and laboratory automation to imaging, ventilation and anaesthesia, operating room equipment and hospital infrastructure.
What sets us apart is the service behind the products. Certified engineers, application specialists and regulatory experts ensure that every system we install performs as promised, for as long as it is in use.
In March 2025 Diamedix became part of Magna MedTech Group, the largest MedTech distribution platform in Southeast Europe, present in six countries. The group brings shared values, additional scale and a common compliance framework, while the Diamedix team, portfolio and local service organisation remain fully in place.

Laboratory diagnostics becomes our core
Long-term partnerships with leading IVD manufacturers make Diamedix a reference supplier for Romanian laboratories.
- 2012
Expansion to the Republic of Moldova
ICS Diamedix SRL opens in Chișinău with local sales and service teams.
- 2017
Entry into Ukraine
LLC Diamedix brings the full portfolio to Ukrainian laboratories and hospitals.
- 2024
Bulgaria joins the network
Diamedix Impex EOOD is established in Sofia, our fourth operating country.

Part of Magna MedTech Group
